You look great, and probably were warmer than with leggings. The fabric you chose for your dress is fun

Wow, I'm flattered--thank you, everyone! Back from the recital, and the outfit felt good. It was no-fuss, and yes, JAileen, I was warm enough. I even took off the cardigan!

That is gorgeous, and I think better with these pants than with leggings. The proportions are lovely and I think hair up was the right call too.

Artfully done, and the pants are more modern & dressy than leggings - very biased opinion though, I don't like leggings.

This really suits you so well - both in the longer layers and in the color family - nice!

Oh, I love this outfit on you! Seems like this formula needs all the elements to be just right for this to work, and you got it all just so. Glad it worked out for comfort at the recital, too.

Really nice and unique. Flow, colors, proportions.
Also inspired -I have those Halogen flares and have been really happy with them - they look just great in this outfit. And I have a Zara long cardigan. Wheels turning!

You do these proportions so beautifully. This sort of look is flattering and suits your style, too. I think the modern she and interesting print elevates the look, which looks to be as comfy as loungewear, while still looking polished and fab!
Your piano teacher is also terrific. I love that you have relaxed, frequent recitals that are more about sharing the music and your progress!
-
Firecracker (Sharan) replied 7 years ago
Thanks, all!
Beth Ann, I do have a wonderful piano teacher. We have our recitals at a retirement home, too, so often we have an audience beyond the usual family of the pianists. Also, she doesn't require that we memorize our pieces, for which I'm grateful!
