WIW: Corona couture

I've made a few t-shirts during these days at home. This one is from one of my favorite patterns, which enables me to use beloved remnants from past projects. I wore this outfit at home and on a bike ride to the post office and to stop for coffee and a treat to go.

The outfit: Pieced t-shirt in purple plaid-like sweater knit, plus solid purple and gray-and-cream-striped jersey knits (made by me); dark boyfriend jeans (AG), gray metallic lace-up booties (Homers).

Thanks for looking! Any thoughts you wish to share are appreciated.

Omg. That’s so good. I need tees like that for the bakery - mixed pattern with black in it!! ‘Cept a half sleeve would be good, ‘cuz flour...

    Thanks, everyone!
Jenn, right, I'm not wearing scrubs or even a mask. Although I did make some simple masks for DH and I to wear, from t-shirts. And, thankfully, I have escaped the virus so far.

Great idea, Joy. I even have a white jean jacket that would be good with it.

Firecracker! The tee looks amazing!  It looks impeccable with your modern jeans and booties.  I think you should start a business making stylish masks out of your scraps!

Looks great - I think it's been a while for me looking on her for more than just a few mins. because I just realized your hair is short again and I like it.  Hope all is well with you and your family.

  • Karie replied 1 year ago

I love it, and I love that you used pieces from other projects to make the shirt. Your hair looks great too!

  • Firecracker replied 1 year ago

    Anne, the fabrics are knits.
