WIW this "weekend"

Saturday I was off this week, but Sunday I work. Hence, "weekend" in quotation marks.

The outfits. . .

1-2 (for the day off): stone shorts (Lulu-B); navy and dark aqua striped tee (made by me); jean jacket (AG, Robyn); cream platform sandals (Naot); taupe bag (Aunts & Uncles).

3 (for work): black and white wavy-stripe skirt (made by me); off-white tank (?); off-white cardigan (Nic & Zoe); black sling-bag Mary Janes (Think! Aida); silver & black heart necklace (Brighton); silver and black bead earrings (Brighton); silver and black scarab bracelet (gift from DH).  I tried Neel's pose with one foot back, here. I thought I was going to fall over!

Suggestions and comments welcome! Thanks for looking!

I am in the mood for "polis" and you look very polished in #3. Great job!

You are a talented seamstress! I love the shirt and skirt you made. On both pieces, there's such a neat pattern in the fabric and wonderful details such as the contrasting hem on the skirt. Great job on both outfits.

That t-shirt is seriously wonderful! I was all ready to stick it into my Finds when I read that you made it.

Nice! I like the 2nd outfit and you made me laugh with the comment about standing like Neel :)

Thanks for sharing...very much like the black and white skirt with the top and black shoes.

You made the T??? Wow. I love it , especially with the jacket over the top.

How fun to see you in a skirt, Sharon. The second outfit is just gorgeous. And great for our weather today.

Liking the casual and sporty touch in #1 too. xo

FUN top in #1/2. I thought it was going to be full panels of stripe directions from photo #1, but was delighted to see that it's actually zig-zagged in #2. Great design! The skirt outfit also looks fab, I really like the gauzy white top paired with it. Are those shoes called "Aida"? What a surprise! :o

Love the wavy and diagonal stripes!  A weekend theme!

Your knee length pants have a great fit -- perfect to balance the proportions of the jacket.

Great job on your top and skirt! The top looks great with your jacket and shorts. And I like the black and white in your second outfit.

I love the skirt outfit! Every time I see you in a special piece of clothing I know I am going to look up and see made by me! Amazing!

LOVE your tee. You could take orders on that one!! So clever. You have an exceptional gift for crafting interesting design details. That first outfit is super for a Saturday. I love the top and skirt in your second outfit also.

Thanks, everyone! The tee is made from a pattern with that zig-zag design; I decided how to place the stripes on it.

Angie, it was a beautiful day! At least I didn't have to work till noon. I enjoyed a lovely morning. Thanks for the skirt love.

Ooh, Beth Ann--leave it to you to pick out a theme! I hadn't thought of that. You are so observant.

Aida, yes, you may need a pair of your namesake shoes.

You are so clever - that stripy T is fantastic and I love the skirt. You look very put-together in both outfits.
