WIW: the white jeans that fit me now

Yesterday I wanted to wear long white jeans but didn't, due to fit issues. Today I wore the cropped pair of white jeans that do fit me. It's still cool out but I decided I could tolerate bare ankles today, especially if I bundled up on top.

The outfit (worn to have lunch and go shopping with a friend, and hang out at home):
white cropped boyfriend jeans (Eddie Bauer);
mixed print t-shirt, in charcoal, eggplant, tourquoise, fuschia, and yellow-green on off-white (made by me); cement and off-white leather belt (Annette Goertz); olive quilted cotton jacket with ribbed knit sleeves and collar (Blue Willi's); gray leather sneakers (Josef Seibel, Caspian); hammered brass and silver concentric circle earrings (Marjorie Baer); hammered brass and silver bead bracelet (Lucky); gray-brown taupe bag (Aunts & Uncles).

Thanks for looking. Thoughts and suggestions welcome, of course!

I like the fit of these on you and those shoes are awesome.  The outfit as a whole is very lovely.

I love it! This is a great example of smart casual. Love it. Oh and I adore that top you made. It is fabulous.

Fun outfit! I like it without the jacket best, to pick up the white in the top, but I understand your weather is throwing you for a loop.

Those shoes have earned their CPW. Between those and your Paul Greens, you are set for sneaker style!

Your pattern mixed tee is such fun. I enjoy all your outfits. They have simplicity, but are also complex at the same time.

Those white jeans look like a perfect fit on you, and I love that striped and floral top.

I thought to myself she didn't make that shirt too did she! And you did. When are you going to start selling MadeByMe to the rest of us?

Wow. How special is #3. Sooooo 2014. You have it going on, FireCracker. xo

I'm glad you got to wear the white ones! I hope your ankles managed. I just bought my first pair of cream boyfriends, but it's much too cold to contemplate a sockless day. Love your top too.

Were you warm enough? The patterns and colors of your tee are so alive!

Thanks, all! I appreciate the jeans and tee love!

It wasn't as cool today as yesterday, so I was quite comfortable in this outfit. And bonus: the sun came out partway through the day to warm things up even more.

Ladywone and Suz, I'm enjoying my street sneakers! When I first got these, I didn't reach for them all that much (except on a vacation with lots of walking, where I wore them almost every day), but they are definitely workhorses this spring.

Shevia, maybe I'll sell or donate some MadeByMe items on the YLF exchange one of these days. I hadn't thought of that. I wish Diana would make me a couple of the beautiful sweaters she models here, too!

Angie, you surprised me with "so 2014." I'll take your word for it!
