WIW: purple and olive

My friend knit me a new cowl, and I had to wear it right away. Soon the weather may be too warm for it, or for the look. I created this outfit around this beautiful accessory.

The outfit (worn for work):
Purple heather zip-back 3/4-sleeved sweater (Halogen); purple heather eyelash knit cowl (handknit for me by a friend); sage wool tapered pants (made by me); pewter pave disc earrings (Lucky); gray shimmer oxfords (Naot, Kedma); mauve packable coat (Mycra-Pac); taupe shoulder bag (Aunts & Uncles).

Thanks for looking! Thoughts and suggestions welcome.

Love the simplicity of the outfit and the harmonious colors.   I love fluffy things so of course love the cowl, the color and texture looks great next to your face as well.

Oh, what a gorgeous, soft-looking cowl - and what a kind friend. Lovely close-up photo - I love the little flashes of turquoise from the legs of your glasses. And your shoes look fab as well.

That looks really great! Truly, not just any cowl look, but the proportions and size are just right, so that it really frames your face, and the color depth is perfect.
