WIW: olive twinset & white jeans

Here's my version of Angie's Olive, Orange & White ensemble, worn for a day off:
White straight-leg jeans (Lucky, Sweet Jean); olive short-sleeved tee and 3/4-sleeved cardigan (Halogen); olive belt (Fossil); orange platform sandals (Kork-Ease); gold and silver necklace (Madewell); brass and silver earrings (Marjorie Baer); gray backpack bag (Rebecca Minkoff). For bonus points, I painted my toenails dark olive.

I was surprised how much I like the dark olive with white. Thanks to Angie for the suggestion!

I welcome any comments and suggestions; thanks for looking!

This is a fabulous version of the olive/orange/white ensemble. The white jeans look sharp with the olive and dash of orange.

Totally fab, especially with the color pop that the orange provides.

I love this. So simple. So stunning. The orange shoes are like that little lemon twist that takes the cocktail up a notch.

Your orange sandals make this outfit so fun! Great interpretation of the ensemble!

I also award you full credit for your olive toenails. :)

Wow. This classic twinset looks totally hip in this outfit because of the tucked under layer, the shoes, white jeans and backpack. VERY nicely down, you gorgeous creature.

  • E replied 10 years ago

Wow! The outfit seems to reflect & flatter you just perfectly. And then the orange shoes feel like a wink at the end. What a great look!

Fab - very fab!!  The olive really works with the white jeans and neutral belt.

I realized when I was looking at the outfit that one of the things that appeals to me about many of your outfits is the fit of your clothing.  The clothes are neither loose not fitted.  You seem to always find that perfect in between.

I agree with Cheryle's comment about the fit of your clothes.  It really does make a huge difference and sets you apart from the rest of the crowd.  This is such a perfect outfit - and you look fantastic in this darker olive.  Nicely done !

This is truly fab! I love the olive trio of belt, top and cardi, and the pop of orange in the shoes. A perfectly crisp late summer look. Well crafted outfit perfection, right down to the jewellery choices. I hope you repeat this one often, it looks brilliant on you.
