Love the first outfit! When MBM opens shop I will order that top. Love the tunic in the second outfit too for that matter. As always, great shoes too!

My favorite look is number 1 but I do have a thing for the dramatic sweater. The tunic in 4 and 5 is beautiful.

I always love all your outfits. #4/5 are my favorites here. #6/7 are great but you have to let those shoes out to play! You're covering up all the fun. ;-)

Thanks, everyone!
Shiny, yes! It wasn't all that warm, but I just had to wear the shoes, even if they were covered up. :)

I love your shrug in 6 and 7, and feel the kerchief hem could be your signature... you do it so well. Also, cu-ute, the tunic.

Great outfits! I really like the layered tunics. That's such a cool idea, I'm looking forward to seeing them again.

#1 is my pick too - imo it's such a defining look of yours. YLF.

Such fab looks! Your MBM tops and tunics are lovely and so 'you'. Like the others I'm loving the drama of #1 with the long sweater over the beautiful cowl top. But I also love the layered looks with the great moto over the top. Like Shiny I also want to see a bit more of the shoes in the great 3rd outfit....maybe when the weather picks up eh?

WOW. Each outfit is gorgeous! Each element looks fabulous (those shoes! those tops!) and they work so well together. And even your friends are talented! That knit shoulder cozy is beautiful.

These are all lovely outfits, but I really like 5 and 6. That little shoulder cozy is so much fun, and I bet it lives up to its name.

I always enjoy your WIW's and today is no exception. Each of these outfits looks delightful, and reinforces my admiration of your great taste, talent and style Firecracker.

These are all wonderful. The layered tunics are such a great idea! Can't wait to see more of them... individually as well. They are perfect with the skirted leggings.

Oh yes, let them out to play(new fab booties)!:-) Happy you posted these, all your new tops are Firecracker special:-) but I always wondered if it's OK to layer coats over a dramatic assimetric hemline like that. nd now I see it is. Thanx for the inspiration.

Love that moto jacket and the dress! Edgy but sophisticated...perfectly you.

It is always great to see how your talents intersect and you wear such interesting looks with pieces you create. These are great looks on you and I like the angled hem lines.
As an aside, your Mycra-Pac coat is such a gorgeous color on you. I have one that I purchased awhile ago in black- while it comes in very handy, I prefer how the shade you have functions as a neutral, but adds life to the outfit.
Well done!

I love the layered and asymmetrical lines you create with so many of your clothes - very much you, and very beautiful to look at! I esp. like #1 and #4.

Beautiful! 4 is my favorite!

Thanks, all!
Rachylou, the kerchief hem as my signature, hmmm. . . I don't feel I wear it that often, but perhaps asymmetry? I don't know. Thanks for giving me something to ponder.
Karie and Summer, I love the shoulder cozy that my friend knit--thank you! Yes, she is very talented!
Lyn, it's interesting that you raise the question of layering a coat over longer layers. I do it with the mauve coat, because the coat itself is loose and arty-looking. But I don't feel it works with my more tailored trench coats and the like. I think it would look better if the coat had an asymmetrical hem, and/or perhaps an open front.
Eliza, the Mycra-Pac has been with me for close to 10 years, I'd say. And I'm a little embarrassed to say I've considered purging it in the past because I thought the color wasn't quite right for me. I'm soooo glad I didn't! (What was I thinking??!) I recently had my colors done and it's firmly in my palette. I'd like to find more items in that color. Mine reverses to black, too, a kind of odd off-black color, which is also easy to wear with a lot of things in my wardrobe.

Sharan - really love the olive cowl neck top with that fantastic dramatic sweater! No credit for that piece- did you make it? Anyways, this is definitely a great look on you - the long , dramatic jacket/sweater over a soft top. Works so well with your long, slim legs :)

Firecracker (Sharan) replied 9 years ago
Thank you, Lisa! I did make the cowl top, but not the long sweater. It's from Nordstrom a couple of years ago and I don't know the brand. It was one that I didn't even recognize at the time I bought it, and I cut the tag out.

Sorry, sorry, been meaning to stop by this thread and say how much I love your new duds, particularly the checked tunic. Nice to see the new booties getting an outing.

shipskitty replied 9 years ago
I love all of these looks but the first is my clear favourite. Given the booties are not a wildcard after all maybe you need another ;)
