You always look so amazing! I'm with you on the maroon, this time of year I'm always excited to get my maroon skinny jeans out and wear them weekly. I'm looking to incorporate more of this color into my wardrobe this year also and have my eye on a few pieces.

Soo glad you got the wine jeans.
I'm liking them all and how great is the maroon blouse and sparkly sweater from House of Sharan? Then whoa, fab trenchcoat. It's a great length on you, very elegant.

You're sooooo super cute in #2, I can't stand it. Killer, Queen Moody Colours. Loving the sequins too. Fabulous all round though - as always.
Are you growing your hair, Sharan?

Thanks, everyone!
unfrumped, thank you for the vote of confidence on the trench length. I didn't take the tags off till this week, when I finally wanted to wear it. I'm glad I got it.
Angie, yes, I'm growing my hair out. My new stylist suggested growing it to just below chin length or so, and then I think doing something with it, but I don't recall what. Maybe a shaggy cut. I will see her soon; I'm due for a trim. I'm liking the extra curl I get when it's longer, but I'm not loving the look of it around my face.

Teehee I was also going to ask if you were growing your hair! A shag could be fun. I hear you about the face framing; I always feel soooo unfab when my layers droop and frame my jaw instead of my eyes (not that there's anything wrong with my jaw, just not how I like my face to be framed ;) )!
Totally adore the first outfit, great texture and silhouette. So fun to see the brighter look with the second. That's an excellent long cardi! Also quite like the color combo of aqua, navy, and gray. Will have to keep that one in mind. FUN sequin tee in the last, and a good take on pencil debombshelling. Really love the blouse collar pulled out with that look, cheeky.

You are so good at mastering perfect, flattering silhouettes and fits. It's interesting how we wear similar colors -- maroon, teal, but wear them in such different ways. Your versions are, as Angie says, moodier and earthier. Mine tend more to the bright. You might like this top from Loft, or the matching pants. Have you seen them?

Beth Ann, thank you, and good points about our wearing of similar colors. I do lean toward the more muted versions of the colors we both like, and I think you look good in the clear versions of them. I love that print and would certainly wear it. Most often, I go for prints that are a little more diffuse or impressionistic (which may be another slight difference in how we wear our similar colors). But I have my art nouveau streak, too, and can see myself in the top certainly. When I first saw the pants, I thought, so pretty! but no, not for me. But now you've got me thinking: that's not something I would make, so it might be worth checking them out next time I'm at at the mall!

You don't put a foot wrong:). Each outfit is stunning. Sharan you know what works and you work it brilliantly. Excellent proportions.

These are all gorgeous, I love your WIWs, they're always inspiring. And look 2 is gorgeous. Something about the colour and drape of the topper really calls attention to the vee on the booties. Architectural simplicity done right. YLF!

I noticed your longer hair right away too :) Looks pretty with the extra length. You've got such a great collection of clothes - lots of different looks and colour pairings. Great Paul Green boots - they go with everything ! My favourite is the first outfit - all 3 are fantastic, but I happen to love those burgundy jeans on you :)

"aged wine"?? Seriously??? I'll take one in "stale lager" please.
I kid. You look as lovely as ever. 7-8 is my favourite. I love the new flirty over-the-shoulder pose.

Your longer curls look smashing, Sharan.

Thanks, everyone!
Deborah, thank you! It's nice to hear that's your impression--I feel I have quite a few misses (but I feel like trial and error is part of the fun of learning).
Aliona, I'm glad to hear you're inspired! Thank you.
Angie, thanks. I'll see where we "head" with the hair. . . . ha ha.

Okay, it's posts like this that are putting me in a bad mood!! This is what I want to be wearing and I'm stuck in summer still!
Seriously, though, I like them all and love #5-6. Love the colors and print on that top!!

I love these jeans on you. You look amazing in wine! And you look sensational in the tube skirt as well.
