WIW: living in Neutral-land

Here are outfits for the last few days. Lots of neutrals. I don't find them especially drab; to me they feel calming and comfortable.

1-3 (worn to work): black and brown. Espresso skinny ponte pants (NYDJ); black, brown, gray, and tan mixed-up plaid print tee (made by me); black drape front cardigan (Olivia Sky); black distressed suede boots (Donald J. Pliner, Devi 2); green trench (Gallery); black satchel (Elliott Lucca, Olvera).

4-5 (worn to work): black and gray. Black slouchy skinny pants (MosMosh); black, red, gray, and ivory blurry-print tee (made by me); gray collarless leather jacket (Hinge); black belt with rhinestone studs and ornate buckle (BedStu); black flat booties (Munro, Lexie).

6-8 (worn to work): brown and black. Black and brown tiny-bubble-knit bodycon dress (made by me); black tights; (black and brown animal print fuzzy sweater (Free People, Out of Africa); black distressed suede boots (Donald J. Pliner, Devi 2); long black coat (Gallery); black satchel (Elliott Lucca, Olvera).

9-10 (worn to work): sage and gray. Sage wool pegged pants (made by me); sage tee (Majestic); gray and mauve print wool cap-sleeve sweatshirt (made by me); gray shimmer oxfords (Naot, Kedma).

Thanks for looking! I welcome your comments and suggestions.

Great outfits! I love your grey collarless leather jacket. It is fab. Also like the short black boots a lot.

I prefer neutrals too. They are not drab! I find them more chic than lots of bright colour. (Not that I hate colour; I just prefer small accents of colour, generally speaking).

The T- shirts you make are always so interesting and stylish. The neutrals are really working for you. I especially love the ponte pants/long cardigan look on you-so modern and cool.

Good thing moody and dark neutrals love you back, girlfriend. Loving #1, #4, #6 and #9. You look SO cuddly in #6. Beautifully texture-rich.

    *hugging you*

You look terrific - another vote for #1 and #4.

Can I have the T shirts in #1 and #4? You don't want them any more, do you? And the green trench too?

    Thanks!

    High five, Aziraphale!
Sharon and Peri, thanks for the t-shirt compliments. And Peri, you are a riot.
Angie, thanks--I think I picked up a little subtle whiff of your Kenzo Flower. Hugs back!
    Caro and Shevia, thank you!

HAH. I hope that's a good thing. xo

Not at all drab, because I think you have pattern and forward thinking silhouettes. And also texture.

But omg! I just got that Free people sweater. At NAS, a sales girl got me to try it on, and it looked cute, but I wasn't shopping for cardigans. And it felt a little scratchy to me. But there I was this weekend at the other end of the season, tried it on again, and was like yes, I need this for *country punk.* Lol. (Yes, I'm pretty much delusional.)

Angie, yes, I meant it in a good way!

Yay, we're sweater twins, Rachylou! I agree you need the fuzzy cardigan. It will be great on you.

The dark neutral are definitely loving you back Sharan. What great looks! That long cardi is fab in #1 and I love all the wonderful tees that you make.
