WIW: Cropped flare jeans

As I read Angie's post this morning, Team Cropped or Team Full-Length Pants, I had to chuckle, because I'm wearing cropped flare jeans today, as a break from my cropped straight high-waisted jeans. I wear cropped pants a lot more than full-length ones these days. They are an easy style to wear in Seattle, as Angie pointed out, because you don't have to worry about soggy hems.

Today's outfit is more about the new tunic, rather than the jeans. I would have worn it with white jeans, but I'm going to be bicycling to piano lesson, and I feel less anxious about wearing darker blue jeans when bicycling.
The outfit: blue and white striped-floral tunic-length blouse (Sewing Workshop Berwick St. Tunic, made by me), cropped flare jeans (Mother, Insider Crop Flare); white sneakers (Cole Haan); floral watch (Olivia Burton).

Thanks for looking! I welcome your thoughts and suggestions.

Great top (and outfit) - it looks like the designer piece Zara copies it that makes sense!

I love the tunic...and I’m not a fan of prints , but this looks so great with your cropped flares and white sneakers ...impressive!

shevia, good eye--I think the pattern is inspired by a designer piece.
taylor, I wasn't sure about how I would feel wearing this particular print myself, but I really liked the fabric, so I gave it a try. It's quite different from my usual look; maybe it qualifies as a wildcard!

Absolutely beautiful ! Everything. You look fab.

When I saw the tunic (what a perfect fit, by the way!) I said to myself: I bet she made it herself ... Need to say that I am terribly envious of your skills?

    Thanks, everyone!
Inge, you would rock this tunic. It's very much your style, I think.
    Thank you, Sisi, how sweet!

Very nice! And I'm team cropped. They just look more spring like and on trend. Not to mention flattering for most of us.

Ohhh, that tunic is gorgeous and I love how modern it looks with the bottoms and shoes!  I think you and I have fairly similar styles about 80% of the time.  This looks like a couple items I own!  (-:
