Angie, thank you for the affirmation. I got them at 4 Your Eyes Only, in Wallingford, which is also where I got my round ones. When I came in last week wearing my round specs, the optician recognized them and knew them by name. She asked me about what I was looking for, my preferences in materials, etc., and then pulled all the narrow frames for me to try (well, maybe not ALL of them). She had a lot to choose from. She knows they are hard to find, and she tries to keep a good selection of them in stock. "You can find wide frames anywhere," she said. Ha!
Karie, thank you! I think what you see as the white part is actually a light, brushed gold; the frames are a combo of metal and acrylic. I like the subtlety of light gold finish.

Bijou, thank you. It's so nice to have someone just pull the ones that will fit, too, so I don't go around the shop finding a bunch of frames that I really like but that won't work at all!
